12/30/11

Yesterday, we spent our day at the markets and the beach. Parts of the market smelled rancid. It was a mixture of fish, and dorian. Dorian is a fruit that smell awful, but tastes sweet. We also met a man who worked in the orphange When my mother picked me up. He said he remembers me. so we called him in front of the Prime Ministers house. He came to meet us and he showed us what is now a Huge hotel called White Sands Hotel.

To finish our day, we finished our day off with a sunset over the ocean.

On the 29th of Decembver, My family went to an orphange just outside of Phnom Phen. The kids there were so amazing. They were so happy. They loved playing soccer, and other games. Some of the games they played were games I have never seen before. Some of they boys I played with were amazing at soccer. They kicked our butts. I guess they have a lot of time to practice.

After our stop at the orphange, we finished our trip to the coast two hour later.

Today, My family and I started off with a tour of the silk weaving village. it was amazing to see how the people make such a smooth fiber from an organic material.

After the  weaving Village, we took a quick tour of the Silver Pallace. There wasn't any pictures allowed except in some places, here are the pictures of the pallace.

First off I would like to apologize for no updating everyday. My family and I are so busy and tired, we couldn't find any time to blog.

On the 26th of December, My Family and I traveled from Siem Reap to Phnom Phen. The trip itself was five hours with a few stops along the way. The first stop we took was at 1000 year old bridge.

After our stop at the bridge, we had another stop at "Spider Village".

When we got to Phnom Phen, we ended our day with a boat ride for a sun set cruise on the river.

12/26/11

First off, I hope everybody had a great Christmas. Here in Cambodia, we are 12 hours ahead of you. It's 9:57 am on the 26th of december. Back at home, it's 9:57 pm on the 25th of December.

Today, we woke up at 4:00 in the morning. We went and saw the sunrise over Angkor Wat.

After we saw the sunrise, we went and got a tour of the temple. The temple is massive. It was fit for a king. The carvings could be found on every wall. Each of which tells a story about Gods and Demons.

After our experience in Angkor Wat, we got the chance to feed an elephant. It was the collest thing I have ever done! They eat bannanas. They don't stop either. They stuff them in their mouth and eat them after they get what they can.
