12/26/11

First off, I hope everybody had a great Christmas. Here in Cambodia, we are 12 hours ahead of you. It's 9:57 am on the 26th of december. Back at home, it's 9:57 pm on the 25th of December.

Today, we woke up at 4:00 in the morning. We went and saw the sunrise over Angkor Wat.

After we saw the sunrise, we went and got a tour of the temple. The temple is massive. It was fit for a king. The carvings could be found on every wall. Each of which tells a story about Gods and Demons.

After our experience in Angkor Wat, we got the chance to feed an elephant. It was the collest thing I have ever done! They eat bannanas. They don't stop either. They stuff them in their mouth and eat them after they get what they can.

  2. Peter,
I am your Mom's cousin, and, like the rest of my family, I remember when your parents left Mema's house on Christmas day, right before they went to go meet you. We were all so excited for them, and we couldn't wait to meet you. (You and I met when you were really little.) I am so happy that you are all visiting Cambodia, and your blog is fantastic! The pictures are stunning, and I like reading about this trip through your eyes. Have a great time, and Merry Christmas to all of you!
